You ask, we answer

Yes. When you book a move with Great Little Moving, we can include donation drop-offs as part of your moving plan (time and access permitting). Just let us know in advance which items you’d like to donate and where you’d like them dropped off, and we’ll help coordinate it on moving day.

Most donation centres accept clothing, shoes, books, small household items, and décor in good condition. Some locations also accept furniture and home goods, but rules vary by organisation. We recommend calling the donation centre ahead of time to confirm what they’re currently accepting—especially for larger items.

To keep things smooth:

  • Pack donation items separately from your “keep” items
  • Clearly label boxes or bags as DONATION
  • Keep sets together (pairs of shoes, bedding sets, cords with electronics)

Clear labelling helps our movers place donation items exactly where they need to go.

Include toiletries, chargers, snacks, medications, important documents, and a change of clothes for each family member.
